Way Out
Hello
I have signed a letter of intent with a Qatari company, however I have just realized that I do not want to move there due to the labour law disadvantages. I am still in Europe and still did not get a visa, how can I cancel the contract? What could they do? Thank you

As Norsk says. In addition most Letters of Intent aren't binding, but the main thing is provided you don't have any assets or bodily parts there, there's bugger-all they can do.

Interpol will fly you to Qatar and you will be judged under the Sharia law.

In my opinion they cant do anything. Its not uncommon for people to change their minds. The worst thing is that you have probably blown your chances for any future opportunities with the same company.
