From Saudi, how can I watch such channels as BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 for free. I have a vpn.

I guess it depends where you are to some extent but I can watch BBC news using ExpressVPN at:

To some extent the vpn protocol can be significant. but for the most part it works.
The above are three I just tried from home, I'm not in Saudi but I'm not in the UK either so I am subject to region blocking where it is in place.

By turning on the VPN, opening BBC Iplayer or ITV player or 4OD.

BBC will be an issue as they are blocking VPNs daily. It is getting harder and harder to find ones that work with the BBC channels

BBC is blocked through it and i spoke to their staff who said there is no workaround

Interesting, I knew they had been struggling. We've got a dodgy box and use that so never need the VPN for telly.

If you have a smart TV, you can get it through that without a box, KingIPTV.

forget iPlayer with any VPN. They're too agressive. Switch to Switzerland and visit zattoo.com

The one that is alluded to above still works here, where vee pee en is also blocked. Most of the others don't.

If anyone has something that does work they won't (or should't) post it here publicly or it is likely to get shut down pretty quickly.

I honestly haven't got the patience for this sort of stuff.

The dodgy box offers a lot more and is so much less hassle.

And I don't understand the paranoia. Whilst the websites to sign up for such accounts might be blocked the actual service is unlikely to be. ExpressVPN works in China and I would suggest they might be more aggressive at trying to prevent such use than any ME agency. In truth I just can't comprehend even the slightest suggestion that "anyone" might be "looking". Unless there is some sort of evidence to support the fact I'd suggest that any correlation between a mention on BE and a service becoming blocked is what the real world terms, a coincidence.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I just can't be bothered to argue about it so I'm happy to play the game for the foil hat folk.
