hi, well... i have an old watch from my grandfather i want to have it checked out and in working order (may only need a battery) and a few small scratches removed from the glass.

can anyone recommend a good place to take the watch? it is an 70's omega seamaster.

dubai or sharjah, i know sharjah would be a lot cheaper, but i would like to have someone i can trust work on this because of the family value in the item.

There is a little shop in Festival City, along from Hyperpanda, that repairs all sorts of watches at a good price. I have some 1960's cocktail watches and they got them back in working order in minutes.

Try major retailers like Rivoli - they fixed up my favourite swiss watch nice and proper after I had a wee accident. Keep away from smaller outfits...it might be a good idea to see who the official partners for Omega are as most of the big brands have official workshops here.
