Visitor visa for Saudi

Where can I find details about the visitor visas for British passport holders wishing to visit Saudi?

If UK passport holder can get visa in Saudi on arrival, are airlines still able to stop a passenger boarding a flight to Saudi, as they have done in the past?

In theory, no, but I would check with the individual airline as to their policy.

I've noticed that at check in they are no longer asking to see an exit re-entry from me. That's been for the past few months now.

I specifically asked British Airways about this last week when flying London - KSA and was told their internal visa notes system now indicates visas on arrival are available, so you shouldn't (in theory) be hassled as much as used to be the case.
