Hi,

I am new to this forum and would appreciate any advice - I've tried searching through the forum myself but am suffering from information overload!

I am moving to Dubai in a few weeks time by myself and bring my small
Chihuahua along.

Ideally, as a female who can't drive, I am ideally looking for somewhere located near a metro or bus, that can take me to DIFC and other facilities (food etc). Therefore, good transport/metro is important.

Also, more importantly, it would need to be a house or villa (1 bedroom) with a private garden and ideally near green areas or lake where I can walk my dog. I understand that I can't walk my dog off the lead, hence looking for a private garden. I should add, would like the villa to be fully furnished, if possible.

Also, I would like, for my first year, to live in a gated community or an area full of other expats.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Welcome to BE, firstly there are no one bedroom villas, it will have to be an apartment. Google The Greens, close to metro and a good area, perfect for a little dog.

Also not gated, but then hardly anywhere is. Even those what claim to be are a bit of a joke.

New poster, you really don't need a gated comunity here and 85%+ of people in Dubai are expats.
