my company's operations are very complex due to the different types of revenue streams we have and so there is NOWAY i am handling the VAT implementation myself, particularly when i already have enough on my plate as it is.

VAT on all foods (inc. staples with no value added). Well at least that makes the tax returns simple not having to bother with zero-rated etc, I guess.
