Would that be in a film noir or maybe expressionist way?

Or is it full of T & A? You like that sort of thing!!

tres jolie...

Being serious - it's a Turkish action movie - very much in the style of a 1980s US gung-ho action hero film.

One dimensional bad guys (except for Billy Zane), zero dimensional good guys, terrible acting, awful cinematography, stunted dialogue, scenes based in fact but exageratted to the nth degree (Abu Ghraib is where US doctors harvest organs to sell to the Israelis, all US soldiers hate and love killing Iraqis, clerics coming and preventing hostage beheading - its so crammed full of 'contemporary' references that it really should have been a spoof)

What was slightly worrying was the number of Turks who believe it is realistic (although I guess no more worrying than the number of Americans who used to believe the all Russians are evil lines peddled in the 1980s)

So bad it's good

So is it dubbed into Inglish, or is it proper like?

I've never been too sure about them Turks mind, all that uphill gardening and invading Cyprus!

BTW - You seen my blog? I even use feeds from GN to it!
