urrrm since when does hsbc give you an overdraft....
So you know we left, we left a very small amount in HSBC account. Car cheques cleared this month putting us into an overdraft i didnt realise we had.... but it says cheque cleared by other source.... what other source....

You got other accounts with HSBC or affiliated lenders?
Some banks have a kind of centralised customer service available meaning that they kind of lump together all your transactions.
But it´s mostly only done if the customer is a VIP..

Think the branch manager/your relationship manager would have authorised the cheques to be passed (based on your past satisfactory account conduct).

With the Status account you have an automatic overdraft of 5000dhs
