Urgent Can anybody help!!!
 

Hi all,

I am in urgent need of some info on developments in Dubai. I need to find a 5 * Hotel for sale and I am finding it very difficult or on the other hand I need an extensive piece of land with the potential to build a 5 * Hotel. Your urgent responses will be appreciated.

why? are you a multi millionaire? you can't buy land here as an expat so that is out, I wouldn't imagine that any of the hotels are for sale as they belong to all big players out here. I think you will find this task impossible. Are you representing a big hotel chain maybe :confused:

Get yourself down to WHSmith and buy 'Hotel Trader'.

There are loads of hotels in there at reasonable prices.

Im just waiting for a non sarcastic reply. no I am not a multi millionaire just wanted some helpful info.. I know you cant buy land in Dubai I did not ask that I asked about getting land that had the potential to build on. So again if anyone can help please reply if not then do not bother. Cheers

Well Arty, the 'bored' here is a group of generally well-meaning individuals, but we are not in the business supplying highly specialised knowledge of the kind you are seeking.

Why not google some of the government departments and try your luck with people whose job it is to answer queries like yours.

Sarcastic replies are just par for the course - not meant (usually) to be taken purposely, but they do make the day go by more quickly.

you mean leasing a patch of land?? honestly I think you are wasting your time but if you want to persue it I would suggest contacting some of the major hotel chains that are already here.

Cheers , thank you for that I am trying that route already but find the government is dragging there heels when queries are raised so just though I would try my luck on this forum as you never know who is looking at it.

that is normal here. It will take alot of time, research and money and technically you would never actually own the hotel, if you did manage to build one! it would always be held by the Government at the end of the day. The Grand Hyatt for examples is ownly managed buy the Hyatt Group the hotel is owned by HH.
