unblocking request to etisalat
when getting the blocked page from etisalat it gives you a link to give feedback which gives you several options, complaint, inquiry, commnets and webmaster feedback.
Have any of you sent a request to unblock and to which one did you send to and was there any reply or unblocking.
I am trying to acces a blog being held on Vox and it seems the whole of Vox is blocked.

Try sending an email to [email protected] I have managed to get a few sites unblocked in the past! Once you send mail, you will /should get an automated email back telling your request is being dealt with.
Etisilat... Are'nt they just a pain in the butt!!

Not always.... Another site that I use similar this one was blocked shortly after using it, after givng them a swift mail with full explaination of the site they ublocked it within 12 hours...

google for things like, proxy, web tunnel, vpn, etc. You'd be amazed what etisalat cant block.

Do you remember as a child, writing a letter to Father Christmas? How you wrote down all the magical, wonderful presents you wanted - like a pony, and your own aeroplane - and then your parents would tell you to throw it on the fire and "send it up the chimney to Santa"?
That's the best way to contact Etishite. Write your complaint, print it out, roll it into a spill and light it with a cigarette lighter.
In terms of results, you should meet with just marginally less success than your Santa letters did.
