Default Unaccompanied Travel

Does anyone know the minimum aged for unaccompanied travel on Virgina and BA or which airlines provide an escorting service for minors.

Cheers

4 Years is the minimum with a limit at 12 unless prior arrangement with the airline.

BA, Emirates, Virgin and Gulf Air provide the service.

I dont think it would be a problem JD ... when we went back to the UK we saw 2 kids wth a cabin crew ... i think they just a bit older than sam. I am sure she would be fine.

I know, I have seen small kids as well....we joke about doing this all the time, it would make our jouney so much nicer...just book the kids as unaccompanied and ignore them for the duration....

Does anyone know if there is an age restriction on unaccompanied children travelling in first or business class.
I cant seem to find a great deal of info on the websites.

Age 4 is the minimum in any class and 12 is the upper limit but you can request from the airlines, this is applicable to any class.

You are welcome the reason being is that they do not normally allow you to book UM's on the web you have to go to the office normally to collect the UM form and that is when the booking is confimed.
