UK FCO Warning to Qatar Ex Pats
Please be advised that FCO travel advice for Qatar has been amended today to say:
‘We advise British Nationals in Qatar to maintain a high level of security awareness
particularly in public places. You should avoid large gatherings and
demonstrations. We are aware of reports of a possible protest on Tuesday 15 March
2011 or Wednesday 16 March 2011’.

That's exactly like Saudi. Just substitute a Land Cruiser for a Lexus and iPhone for Blackberry.

It's also a bit windy....so it may get postphoned and will be forgotten...they might open a new mall to keep them busy....

So did anything actually happen???
Too busy to go and check, flying out to Dubai for a long weekend at the arab horse championships.
Should be quiet for those left behind, I'm not on the roads!!!
Loz's philosophy... 'be blonde, keep your hand on the horn and put lip gloss on at every traffic light' - well i might get caught on camera.
Dubai is safe, I'm using taxis and the metro.
Too busy to go and check, flying out to Dubai for a long weekend at the arab horse championships.
