I need my UK documents legalized for a job offer in the UAE. Currently I am living in New Zealand. What is a quick way to do this as the FCO has said that will take 3 weeks by post just for their part. Thanks

I asked exactly the same question a few months back I am in the same position.

Here is what I did:

Went and got everything Notarised at my local Notary (Auckland) check yellow pages.

follow this link and it tells you what to do, except do not sent your documents to UAE Embassy when they say. You must send it to the British High Commission in Wellington (email them they are very helpful) and they will authenticate everything, then you can send it off to the UAE Embassy in Canberra Oz, it took mine about 3weeks to come back(this costs alot of money and if you have one thing wrong they will sit on it until you contact them. check their website also. www.uaeembassy.org.au

No that is, I hope, the only thing that I have to pay.
