Default UK Degree attestation, input needed

Hi guys,

Just wondering if I made a mistake. I went to the solicitors to get a certified copy of my degree and at first he was just going to put his stamps on the degree itself, I asked if he could do it on a copy. He put a statutory declaration stamp to prove that the document was authentic where I had to put in my name and address and had to sign and date it. He then signed and stamped the document himself. I got this document legalised by the FCO but I'm now wondering if this document is satisfactory for the UAE embassy as there is no mention it being a true copy of the original?

I had a colour copy attested by the UAE embassy in London so wasn't a problem.

Thanks

Well it looks like I'm only going to know once I go down to the UAE embassy on Tuesday. I hope it all works out, or it would mean another trip down to Milton Keynes >_<
