UK Company Car Return
Has anyone experienced undertaking an internal company transfer out to Dubai (although could literally be anywhere) and being held liable for Early Termination Charges on your UK company car?
Neither the UK Firm nor its ME counterpart (to whom I'm transferring) seem overly keen on picking up these costs (£9k!) and guess who is left holding the baby? If I was leaving the company I'd probably agree that it was my liability to dispose of, but as its an internal transfer I cannot see why on earth I should pay for this.
I cant be the only person on earth who has experienced this issue.... Or am I?

There was no argument/discussion - tell therm you are needed in the Middle East and this is one of the costs they need to cover.

Great stuff, thanks for advice. It's like banging my head against a brick wall, it really is! Nobody seems to want to accept liability for this but I'm pretty clear that it shouldn't be me!!
