From September 1st! All Government offices, schools etc. will change their weekend from Thursday & Friday to Friday and Saturday.

Bugger, that means the rest of the private sector will follow suit and change and there goes any hope of getting a decent tee time in Dubai... Or having a quiet day around the pool without any kids.... Or quieter malls....

There goes my saturday evening. Come home from work saturday night put the tv on watch the football. Now what, spend all day shopping with the wife and come home after kick off.

Actually, 'football' is on Sundays and the season doesnt start until September... might you be referring to "Soccer?"
