Annual sales conference in the US, they need flags from all thier regional offices for the gala dinner. The only one I can find is in City Centre and is A4 size!

We saw some about half the size of A4 on fake gold stands. We think it was at Lulu Hypermarket in Al Qusais but any tacky touristy shop will have them for sure.

never seen them, Chris's idea might have some truth in it though, contact a hotel and ask where they go theirs from/made?

You can buy 3' by 2' UAE flags at Knotika chandlery in Al Quoz near Interchange 3.

any ship chanldler should be able to sell you one.
vessels calling here fly the UAE flag along with there flag state's flag.

No worries. Look them up on the internet and phone up first...but every time I have been in there is always about half a dozen flags in stock.

They are the standard 3' x 2' size flag that you see on boats around the marinas and coastline.

Liberia is still an important flag state but its got very little to do with Liberia.
They just receive an income from a company in Virginia that effectively has a Licence from Liberia to run it for them.
