Tuesday nights at the AD GP circuit
Hey all,
Another Q to help me prep for arrival in AD.
I read that they open up the GP circuit for cyclists, walkers, runners etc on a Tuesday night. Is the right? Can you hire decent bikes? Is there an expat group that meets?

yes thats right, yes you can hire bikes etc there.

They are all new mountain/hybrid bikes. Or at least, they were new at the start of the season (November last year).
There are a few cycling groups that meet up, plus local hash clubs occasionally meet there too.

Re Hire bikes I believe they are Gitane bikes (as in the French cigarette). They are mountain bikes.
You can get on the website and register before hand.
Full circuit is 5.5 km. Open from 6-9pm usually but check website for info.
Runners go the opposite way. Slow cyclists supposed to stay right to let the peletons of MAMILs fire by in a blur of carbon
