Treking/Camping Trails in Dubai

Treking/Camping Trails in Dubai
Hi,
I have been in Dubai for 6 months now and find the place rather boring in the outdoor front. Even though there are many happening events (Tennis, Dubai Horse Race, etc.) but for the adventure seeking there is very little to do. So if anyone knows of some nice place to trek/camp please do let me know. If you are a adventure seeking person like me feel free to mail me about your latest adventures. I am also planning to start a adventure club (what do you think?) for people who love the outdoors so we can share info and if possible organize some trips together.

Adventure club sounds great...can it include children? Can I send them on their own
Only kidding, have been here a year and have not explored anywhere, would like to but it has to be kiddie friendly and tame for me. That means not eating local wildlife or sleeping with creepy crawlies. You can see why we haven't been out much LOL

Thx for ur feedback.
Yes children are included ...its a club for the entire family. Now to answer your second question about food. As a regular outdoor person I have never eaten any local wildlife or slept in bug infested areas because we always carry food and proper camping equipment which include tents, sleeping bags etc. So nothing to worry.

Fick Me Ram my man........this is the best outdoor place on the planet Dude....were to start....4x4 clubs (kids ok)...camping(Kids OK ...motorbikeng...desert safaris..all over the Northen emirates...scuba diving...the list goes on...go down to Ace Hardwere and get a few Off road driving and adventuer books that will give you a good start...dont need a 4x4 for most of the trips..
