Travelling to Oman and Dubai - visa - which passport
 

I'm travelling to Oman and Dubai at the end of Dec. I have dual Canadian-EU citizenship. I know for Oman on either passport I need to pay 5 riyals for an evisa and submit some info online, all good.

Dubai I have the choice of Canadian passport - 30 days visa on arrival or EU passport 90 days within 180 days visa free (Schengen reciprocity).

Entire trip is only going to last a week so how long i'm allowed to stay in Dubai doesn't really matter but for future considerations, does it matter which one I use for this trip?

And for the Oman visa, can I apply for it in either passport or do I have to use the Canadian one since I am habitually resident in Canada? I know certain countries (eg Russia) if you are applying for a visa and are a dual citizen, if you are resident in Canada you must apply with a Canadian passport, but couldn't find anything on Oman.

You can use either passport. Makes no difference.
