Question Transferring money from UAE to UK

I have just started work in Abu Dhabi, while my wife has stayed back in the UK.
To cover mortgage and other bills on a monthly basis I need to transfer money from the UAE to the UK. I have Lloyds TSB International $, £ and € accounts. Would it be best to use these for the purpose of the monthly transfers?
Should I get my employers to pay my salary directly into one of these accounts?

If you transfer from bank account to another bank account you'll get a lousy exchange rate as that is one way banks make their money.

If you drop me a PM (or email via the link in my signature line) I can send you the details of the currency exchange service I use bother personally and for my clients. Better rates, no fees, company authorised by the FSA in the UK and has an office in Dubai. The sytem work for both lump sum and regular transfers and is striaghtforward.

EDIT> Just seen you have only made one post so PM system won't be active. Click on my signature link and then the 'contact me' heading.
