Traffic Symbol (T.C. No)

Traffic Symbol (T.C. No)
Am trying to check my traffic fines online and am being asked for a Traffic Symbol No??? Can anybody help?. Have tried license # with no luck, have also tried the phone # on the web site but no one answers it.

Just enter the plate number of the car and search on that...

To get your traffic symbol, you need to click on the link where it says 'Press to get the unified traffic symbol', enter the 8 digit number on the back of your driving licence under 'old traffic no' and click 'Unified traffic number'.
The number that should appear will be your traffic symbol - click 'copy' and you will be taken back to the search screen with this traffic symbol now populating the box - click 'submit' and you will be shown your fines (if any).
This is the Abu Dhabi police site though, although I'm sure Dubai police will be similar...........(he says naively).

your tc number is on your driving licence, top left. if its the old number you need to as mentioned change it to the new unified number. if you always use this number to check on line then it will bring up any fines, if you only use your plate number it will only bring up speeding fines, and not in another emirate etc.
