That's slightly more worrying. I spent about 15 minutes earlier on the Daily Mail website looking at that mess of a human Courtney Stodden trying to work out if she is for real?

Don't get me started.

Dig at me or not, it sums up how I feel on a daily basis when in the office. It's like being in a melting pot of international ****ing half-wits from 8am to whenever I leave.

It's depressing and definitely not what I signed up for.

I think everyone assumes the bag whallahs are all having a really tough time on subsistence wages in the Gulf

Having spent far too much time for my liking in India over the last year I can confirm that the average Indian in India lives and works in far worse conditions than he does in the Gulf. The worse labour camp in the Gulf is generally better than the slums of Bombay, Calcutta, Madras etc. Coming to the Gulf to pack bags is a holiday. Clean clothes, clean workplace, not covered in shit, not having to walk past some guy taking a dump in the street. I think thats why the bag whallahs in Bahrain generally are so happy in their work and always talking pleasantly. Mind most of them have probably got MBAs

I tip if the service is good - simples. Last night the bar maid in the Golden Turdlip in Oman was able to tell when my bottle of bud was down to the last 10mm, (its a dark dingey bar that should have been closed down in the 80's) then catch my eye to indicate if another was wanted. She also wiped the bottle top to bottom with a paper napkin and turned the bottle so the label was always pointed perfectly straight at me and that it was always at hands reach so I didnt need to move my arm to pick up the bottle. If she'd only showed some more cleavage she would have got a tip. So near and yet so far

Would you add 5 dhs if your 'item' is 'heavy'?

Yes maybe even 10 dhs and I would help the guy to lift it into my car...For example a refrigerator or a stove.

I think perhaps the Dean was referring to the final item on your list
