They are indeed for washing the derierre.

I only have a mental picture of how JC has been trying to use them......frightening really!!!!

I suggest staying in a sitting position and wash away. They are not for feet, hands or anything else. Basins outside are for hands/face and all respectable mosques will have feet washing areas. Whats the point in washing feet and walking to the mosque??????

:D :D

A fine question - the loos in our office are all flooded just prior to every prayer time as the feet are washed there before visiting the prayer rooms - no other facilities available.

Not sure about the mens, but in the ladies loo there is always tissue paper, either on a roll or just outside by basins. Best take your own if you r thinking of giving it a try...and a mop by the sound of it. :)

Yeap, loo roll is ample supply but why can they not wipe the seat after then .... Such bad manners and more often than not the toilet lady is not there
