I know driving in general is bad out here, thats not what I mean. WHAT is SO difficult about the basic principle?

Yea things i dont miss about UK:

1. Getting hassle on the train from Glasgow QS to Croy

2. Neds in general

3. Scottish Law regarding parental rights

4. Scottish law regarding unmarried fathers in general

5. Sending children to RC and COS schools. How are we ever going to eradicate sectairianism if the children are seperated at the age of 5

6. Council Tax

7. Paying North Lanarkshire Council just for providing me with a wheelybin (should have stole my neighbours like everyone else)

8. Petrol (why so expensive?)

9. Cigarettes (ban them)

10. Cumbernauld.

11. Why it always rains on the Gare Loch

12. Burberry: a really good brand that has been ruined by neds

13: Aquascutum: as 12

14. Leaving Dyce airport on a Helicopter for rigs 100 miles North East of Aberdeen

15. Spending elongated periods of time on aforementioned rigs (especially the ones that are clearly in a state of decay!!)

thats enough for now me thinks

Funnily enough I was considering starting another thread about what people don't miss about the UK

For me

Commuting into London each day
London Underground
Chewing gum all over pavements
Greyness & drizzle
Chavs all over the place
40% tax
Having to wear coats & gloves

And extortionately priced ciggies...

Yeah...now we can just sit in our cars for three hours listening to Bryan Adams instead ;-)

And forget about the overwhelming number of things to do and see in London, because we have vodka here

That was always funny...didn't it get released as a single??

I must be one of the minority of people who actually appreciated the tube. Still think its amazing (not as amazing as the U-bahn in Berlin or the Subway in New York, but still amazing)

Tube every 4 minutes on average where I live(d), 12 minutes to the west end, one side of London to another in 40 mins...

Coverage of almost every single corner of north, west and east London.

I'd say it was amazing.
