Oh, I didn't know there was one. Anyway, you might know. Apparently, there is a shoe shop in Bahrain that sells Gina shoes. I was told this today by a salesperson in the Gina shop in Knightsbridge, but she didn't know where in Bahrain it was, or what it is called. Do you know? I am going to a wedding on Friday, and I need some shoes to complete my outfit.

Yeah, there's a few of us around Mainly migrated to EW as there is a BAH section there

Gina shoes.......not sure what they are, sorry. Do they sell in department stores or stand alone shops? Might be at Al Aali mall, but not sure apart from that. Sorry, I'm fairly new here......

No, they don't - I went there, and they only had Jimmy Choo, not Gina .

being completely shoe ignorant, I had to google Gina...
looks like it's the sort of shoes that you find all over the shops here so unless you really need the Gina label it should be very easy to find that style...there's another shop, Vinci or something that's full of those gold/silver bling type stuff...it's in Deira City Centre and MoE...

Thanks, I think I'll get a cab into Dubai tonight. I have never been to an Arab wedding before, so I wasn't sure what to wear. I asked the bride for advice as I didn't want to be overdressed, and she said "Samantha, there is absolutely no way you could be overdressed for an Arab wedding!".

Love the dress - very cute, although the shoes might be overkill on the bling front. I'd probably go for a pair of oyster cream satin T bar round toe shoes for a 20's flapper look.

Are they conservative Arabs? Because if so they might prefer you to cover your shoulders, if not your legs...

I am sure it will be fine, the Arab ladies are very much into glitter and glamour, they will have all the stops pulled out...spray on make up, the hair, the nails...there is no way you can go over the top...you're outfit will be demure compared with what they will be wearing...
