Tenancy Contract Termination UAE

Hi All,

I am 2 months into a tenancy contract in Dubai Marina. I hope to receive a new contract offer for a company in AD and HAVE (allowance system) to live in AD.

What is the system to terminate a tenancy contract and are there any penalties.

Thanks, Andy

the penality could be the whole rent, but you are lucky because if you are in dxb you can go to rera and perhaps get a 3 months penalty, in ad they do not exist.

Have a look at your contract. It should be mentioned on there. My contract has a penalty of 2 months

Standard contract should say 2 months notice, that's what we have. If you paid in one cheque I would kiss goodbye to the money.
