Hi Guys,

I know this is not a tax forum. Was wondering if there are any tax people on here that I can contact or who can assist!

Basically, I was looking at the flowchart somebody suggested in terms of determining whether someone is resident v non-resident.

I was hoping to work in AD (next week) for a period of 6 months and then to come back to the UK to study (i.e. i will be studying for the next four years without working). I don't have property in the UK or family (in terms of children/partner etc). I'm assuming I will be hit with tax if I come back?

Apparently, I will have to work in ad until 2016 (2 years) to not pay tax. not sure how this works. any help or suggestions on who i can speak to would be appreciated.
