In Jordan, hmmmm, yes we've all seen the video.

Anyway, isn't Petra in Jordan? Now that's a place I'd like to do to.

I have been to Taba Heights, stayed at the Sofitel, absolutly fantastic. hotel lovely there are other 5 star like the Marriot and Hyatt. All on the beach, snorkling not as good as Sharm but pretty good and the beaches are much nicer than Sharm. Only draw back is it is very isolated your entertainment is hotel only, shuttle buses run from each hotel every half hour.
I loved it Food excellent and mini bar cheap too. Julie

flygal is an unknown quantity at this point

I spend a lot of time in the sinai, and if you want a sun, sea and sand holiday its not so bad. Down side is, its very very much quieter than sharm with fewer options for entertainment than the things already mentioned. The diving is better in sharm, Im told, and Egypt is much cheaper than dxb generally.
As for the terrorist thing.....well they managed to hit London round about the same time............. have a good holiday, where ever you go.

Haven't you been here for years? You really should get to Jordan. It's a very interesting place.

As is Syria, Lebanon - well the Levant as a whole
