Stop Over In Dubai..Help!
 

Hi I am very new to this site but looks so helpful!
I got 2 Friends stopping over here on the 19th of july for 7 hours!
can someone tell me the rules on them leaving the airport for this short time!?

They cant, simple its just a stop over they have no visa to enter only to stay in the airport grounds.

We had some friends stop over end of May.
If they are flying Emirates into terminal 3, they can stay airside but go to the Irish pub in terminal one.
At least you can have a beer and a ciggy in there.

It depends on their nationality - if they are UK passoprt holders they can get a 30 day visa free on arrival - so once they arrive, they can just proceed through immigration to meet you.

Surely that ain't right. British passport holders can come and go as they please, can't they? Just enough time to visit the Irish Village outside...

Ive just checked with my mate at T3 and he has corrected me.

If you have say 7 hours then you can come out by getting a visa stamped on your passport. But remember you will need to be back at least 1.5 hours before hand to go through security and check in again.
