STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER
 
how much a step down transformer will cost in dubai, we are bringing our stuff with us and and want to use it with our 120V tvs.
2)how much a pal to ntsc converter will cost as well.I really appreciate all ur help.

Prices vary depending on how big a transformer you want. I don't recall ever seeing PAL-to-NTSC converters in Dubai (although I'm sure they're around), because all AV equipment sold out here is multi-standard anyway, so converters aren't necessary.

Bear in mind that converters aimed at domestic users generally aren't very high quality - in fact they're mostly awful. For the price you'll pay to get a good one, you could buy a multi-standard HDTV out here, which is by far the best option. Why convert (and degrade quality) when you can watch either PAL or NTSC natively?

Aye, get new gear....digital convertor will be well pricey, and an old school analogue one will be crap for anything over 14" screen, not worth it.
