sponsoring my 17yr old son

Hi folks, I have been over here working since September and my 17 yr old son has come to join me. I am a divorced teacher and would like some advice on sponsoring my son. He will not be continuing with studies here as he is taking a year out, so is looking for work. Any advice on how easy (fingers crossed) or difficult this will be is very much appreciated.

not sure it can be done, well it can be done until he is 18, but they won't issue a visa for one year? try Virgin for job opportunities ;)

Never understood why its 18 when you cannot drink till your 21?
Dubai is not exactly geared up for career minded 18 year olds either, however he as I undersatnd it will get a visa if he goes to College/University here, there is one linked to Middlesex University I have heard advertised on the Radio.

you can only sponsor a son if he is in full time education (daughter is ok ).....if he is sporty try esports ...they give visas to their work force and employ youngsters ....good luck xx
