Speeding Fines - Discount
Folks i just heard on the road that the RTA have extended their 'grace' period of a 30% discount on all speeding fines till Jan '12.
And in fact if you go to the Dubai Police website
http://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/dp/eng...g=1&isEng=true
and look up your speeding violations you will find the fine already includes the 30% discount.
For someone who has already clocked up several speeding fines, this is music to my ears :P

I've had a couple of FORTY percent reductions (AED 600 to AED 360).

yep they have increased the amounts to 40% as well as extending the deadline.
