Hello,

I have been offered a job at Al Rahba hospital which I am contemplating accepting. The problem is the hospital will provide temporary accommodation for me during my 3 month probation period but not for my husband, after this period is complete I get full housing allowance for us both. I was wondering if there was anyway around this or if someone could recommend where I could find temporary accommodation for both of us which we would have to pay for ourselves.

Why can't he pop over for occasional weekend visits during your probation period or does he not have a job back home?

That's a bit tricky Sam cos the surrounding area is mostly National housing area.I think you nearest hotel would be Golden Tulip Ghantoot but honestly don't know if it's suitable.Al Barsha side of Dubai(near Mall of Emirates) Ibis,Hospitality(?) Inn and Golden Tulip - maybe 40 mins but you'd need a car for sure......no idea of costs but should have websites.Good luck

That's a bit tough.
Only way I can think of around it is - assuming he is looking for a job too - for him to find employment pdq with his own housing...
