Solution to economic crisis

I was standing in a shop in Riyadh and happened to observe a tubby little European lady (German? Scandinavian? Judging from her looks and accent) almost mow down this poor Arab guy minding his own business with a couple of kids with her shopping trolley. She was in a hurry and rather than manoeuvre round the man, she almost ploughed into the pair screaming, "Move, move!" - very reminisicent of the local driving style actually! Understandably, he wasn't very impressed and I couldn't help but feel very embarrassed as a Western expat...but it got me thinking. Why do we have to get lumped together with these Europeans anyway? We're not geographically part of Europe anyway.

Therefore, as a solution to our economic crisis and as revenge for Europeans constantly embarrassing me with their behaviour abroad, I propose we invade Europe. Maybe the Middle East countries would even fund the war initially. France and Germany are loaded so that would cover the cost of the venture. We'd over run them in days and all feel better about ourselves again. Brits could all come home again to help run our new empire and we could leave the Europeans to work as housemaids for Saudis.

The Turks already occupy parts of Europe and have done for around 500 years.

He's proposing we invade Europe and so cannot be Turkish...I would suggest we begin by invading the parts of Europe the Turks occupy rather than invading our European neighbours.

A war of liberation to correct 5 centuries of failure to protect Europe wouldn't be a bad thing and would stimulate our economies. I think we'd only need Britain and Germany to completely annex Turkey and then we can decide how much we keep and what we give back to the Greeks and Armenians.

And of course we can deport all the Turks back to the Steppes of Asia where they came from. If you're going to have a war don't do it in half measures I say ;)

I'd rather see the Saudis work as housemaids for the Europeans...

I also want to open the first brewery in the GCC when it is part of the new British Empire. I'll be "our man in Abu Dhabi" and oversee the department of racism and corruption.

The European bit is somewhat smaller the Belgium. The Germans have proved capable of occupying that on their own.
