So much for improved road safetty

Drivers of impounded cars can now pay 100 AED per day to have their impounded cars released.

Am i reading this right that they pay AED 100 per day and if they have it out for 30 days then they pay AED 3000 ??? If so for how long ???

if you jump a red light you get a 7 day confiscation. But now you just pay 700 AED and keep the car. Reckless Driving would be a 60 day confiscation but now they can pay 6000 AED and keep the car.

you could always hire a car then run red lights... when they confiscate it you just get another one lol
