Just thinking ahead...
Best atmosphere, but easy to a drink, no traffic worries, etc... ok so they might be unreasonable demands!
Where you think?
Cheers,
Auto...
(wishing that the Scots had qualified, but thinking we might never see that competition ever again... )

The pub at the Chelsea Hotel in Bur Dubai. Watched the FA Cup final there. Lots of flatscreen TV's so wherever you're sitting you'll see the TV, table service for drinks etc, reasonably priced and good grub. Plus loads of parking. But get there early to secure your table as judging by the FA cup, it gets packed.

Goodfellas, top crowd, friendly Dhs10/bottle beer, and 25Dhs, for food and a beer too.

I will be watching it sans booze, at Sidra in Diyafah Road.
They've just got an enormous plasma TV installed.
It will be interesting to watch it with a bunch of Arabs - esp when Saudi and Tunisia play.

Apparently, during Euro 2004 the games were projected onto a huge wall at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which meant that hundreds of people could turn up and watch in comfort (climate notwithstanding, anyway). There are rumours that they'll do it again for the World Cup. The people I know who went there for Euro 2004 say that the atmosphere was fantastic.
