Smoking Dilemma

Smoking Dilemma
I have a little event this coming Sunday, I mean little as the numbers are down by less than half. Some people have contacted me to say that smoking is an issue and they won't come if smoking is allowed. I have no problem insisting this is a no smoking event, especially if it gets the numbers up - however do I have the right to do that???

As an ex-smoker it does not bother me too much at the time, but the next day, I have a bad cough if I have been around smokers so I can understand what it is like for non smokers.

I was thinking - no smoking in the main area - but you can smoke in the bar which is next door to the room where the event is.
