Silicon Oasis - what is it like to live there?
My current lease runs out at the end of July and I am starting to look around the market to find a good deal.
Silicon Oasis seems good value (I need to be that end of town) but I have never met anyone who lives there.
Can you please let me know what it is like / share your views
Many thanks

Re Pongs. Its really not too bad, smell it maybe a few times a year but nothing like int city.
There is a Costa, Spinneys, Dry Cleaners, MMI, Magrudys, Pharmacy a "Restaurant (if you could call it that)" food is acceptable and they do deliver.
Ive lived here for 3 years now and location wise find it perfect whichever end of town you want to go to you are more or less in the middle. 10 mins from festival city, 15 mins from airport, 15 mins to jumeirah, 25 to MOE. I lived in Jumeirah before we moved here and much prefer to be here. Used to be constantly stuck in traffic at least here although everwhere is much further away there is no sitting in traffic which used to drive me crazy.
Forgot to mention that a Premier Inn has just opened so at least there is a bar here now!
