Default Short term holiday let in Dubai

Hi,

I am booking a holiday in Dubai for 5 nights in Feb. We are 2 families - 4 Adults/4 kids - we have previously stayed at Gloria Hotel/Apartments in DIC and found it to be in a good location for the metro and generally a very nice hotel.

However, our 2 young ones love the beach, and so we are thinking about an apartment within JBR. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of which complex within JBR is good. Also, is it easy to access the main metro line from JBR? Will it be warm enough for the kids to enjoy the beach during the day?

Has anyone come across this website and can it be trusted?

Dubai Furnished Apartments, Self Catering Apartments, Villas And Short Term Rental Accommodation

I have also seen similar apartments on Airbnb.com.

Thanks for your help and Merry Xmas.

Hi. JBR has two tram stations, which connect with the Dubai Metro Red Line at JLT and DAMAC Properties (née Dubai Marina) stations.

There are a lot of scam websites of Dubai apartments, I would not pay over the internet, I would see the agent physically and do it there at the office. Typically however, cash is preferable as credit cards usually require 3% surcharge. JBR is my favorite place in dubai, however it will likely be double the pricing of Gloria location (Tecom) at minimum.
