Default Shopping prices in Abu Dhabi/Dubai

I'm living in sweden at the moment, where I find things pretty pricey, and I usually stock up on clothes for myself and my 10 month old son whenever I go back to the UK.

I'm tagging along on my husband's business trip to AD/Dubai in the middle of March and am wondering if it would be worth doing my stocking up there - how do prices compare to the UK? I'm not talking about designer gear, just stuff from Mothercare, Debenhams and the like. I'm actually just really excited that you HAVE a mothercare and debenhams!

Whilst I'm on the subject, what's the temperature likely to be in mid to late March?

TIA

i don't know about prices in sweden, but prices in the shops you have mentioned are much more expensive here than the uk...

temp in mid march should be fabulous - mid to low 30s - but saying that, it should be nice now and it's freezing, so who knows...!

Yes, I've heard that shopping in norway brings tears to your eyes. All the norwegians come to sweden on beer runs, the swedes go to denmark, and the danes go to germany. Madness!
