we took about 20 suitcases with british airways from san francisco to dubai and flew over london and it was not really expensive, so it should be even cheaper from gb.
we also worked with crown relocations, they are great.

We used movecorp [ actually based near you in Birmingham]. We had half a container amounting to about 50 boxes, a piano and a unit I couldn't part with. This cost £2.000 all in.... everything arrived 5 weeks later, unloaded at house [ I also had packing service included] only 2 cheap glasses broken. Everything else was fine. Definately reccommended

I also see someone reccommended Pickfords - I wouldn't touch them. A friend here had used them from the north east and lots of things were broken, ruined etc. It took months to get the insurance through.

ere! ere! on Pickfords, we used Anglo Pacific to come to NZ and are now going to use Crown to Dubai.

Anglo Pacific are very good in UK, but they use local labour to move you into your house and they are basically a nightmare, Anglo have no pull on them at all.

Everyone I know or have spoken to who have used Crown, have all said good things. Here's hoping they were right!

Still it will all no doubt come down to cost for you, like us all, this time I am paying alittle more for Crown as they have an office in Dubai.
