I'd agree broadly with that...but I'd also state Oman is probably right up there too. The UAE's main problem is really their labour laws and how locals are above the law. Other issues are more manageable...and the whole region suffers from bad driving haha.

Of course we could highlight the mixing of religion with government but that's a given and doesn't need mentioning.
