Sharjah Housing
I am trying to find some info regarding the rental situation in
Sharjah. I have been offered a job in Sharjah with (20K basic salary
+ 13k housing allowance + 7 K Misc) per month. My wife will accompany me with our 8 months old baby.
I am trying find a reasonable two bed room flat in an apartment with
access to Gym and Swimming pool. We have a budget up to 150K per
annum for housing.
Could any one please recommend me any decent location close to
Sharjah city? We are quite used to the constraints of living in an
Islamic city and Sharjah wouldn't be an issue in that aspect for us.
However, I am keen to know about apartments which is recommendable
for families.
We are not looking for a villa at the moment. A 2 or 3 bed room flat in a good apartment will do. How about Palm tower / Al Nada Tower/ Al Rund Tower?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sharjah Housing
For that money you'll have no shortage of options in new apartments with full facilities, and you'll have plenty of change from your housing budget. For a spacious new 2 bedroom apartment I'd imagine you would be paying no more then circa 40k a year. A lot of people are leaving Sharjah for Dubai now that prices are dropping, and there are still a lot of developments on going in Sharjah, so its renters market.
Check around Al Qasba and Al Khan Road, nice area, close to the Sharha and City Centre malls, restaurants, both lagoons and the corniche. Plenty of new builds just opened or completing. Also handy for getting through to Dubai.
