Sending stuff to Dubai
Hi,
I'm currently trying to secure a position in Dubai to join my gf who's already out there, but need some info about sending things out to Dubai.
Most of the places I've looked at deal with large amounts of stuff, ie a full/half container of things. We're able to store a fair amount of things in the UK, so only really need to send over around three boxes of things (sentimental things, computer etc). Does anyone know of the most cost effective way of doing this? And how would my gf go about getting the stuff once it lands in Dubai, what with the PO Box postal service an' all?
Any info appreciated

Re: Sending stuff to Dubai
Why don't you try all the usual international courier companies - Aramex, DHL, TNT etc etc at least to get some idea of cost...sure others on here will have some better ideas though.

If it's small stuff, ship it on the slow boat with the royal mail, takes donkeys, but it'll be cheap...
