Sending money from Abu Dhabi to UK

Hi, sorry more questions from me :)

Whats the best way to send money back home to pay bills etc...

Do you prefer via the banks or companies such as western union (or their UAE equivalent)

I know fees/rates vary but just wanted people to share their experiences and recommendations.

Thanks

There are better options than using your banks or a 'high street' exchange house. Retails banks rarely offer competitive exchange rates and often charge a fee too. If you contact me I will send you details of the service I recommend to my clients. See link below.

Why don't you just post them information here?

OP, you just need a regulated UK-based provider that is authorised by the UK Financial Services Authority. There are plenty which utilise major banks for the transfers.

I use HALO financial services, research them - they are well regarded and the rates are also very favourable. I usually do HALO - HSBC Jersey transfers.

www.torfx.com are also ok
