Scottish social group in Doha
Anyone know about any Scottish social groups in Doha? I know about the Caledonian society but was wondering if there were any other groups.
If not, what interest would there be in setting something up for the likes of watching the football/rugby/social events?

Scottish lads have two teams in the 11 a side football league, theyre probably a good bet to make contact with, try the managers of Alba or Caledonia....

I dont do football or rugby but im allways up for some kind of social event. Or anti-social which sometimes appears to be the case

not necessarily just Scottish, just haven't met any Scots so far since I've been here and was wondering if there was any interest in a Scots group to watch Scottish football and rugby etc (just the same as there are Australia and New Zealand, Dutch, US, German etc groups)
Anyway, sometimes when you are feeling a bit homesick you just want to hear other people talking in the same accent as yourself! Don't see that as a problem myself......

Inferiority complex I reckon.
Not seen many Scot groups in Dubai but there probably are. Try a search on Facebook. I found a Saints FC Dubai supporters club...who'd have thought it?
