Re: Saudi Final Exit
We left on final exit about a month ago with operational STC mobile SIM cards and no problems - but they are prepaid not future billed.

The best combination of three words in the English language.

also, Can I travel to any country or do I have to return to origin? With your final exit, you can travel to any country (assuming you hold the necessary visa for that country), it is not specific for your home country. |
Re: Saudi Final Exit
Traffic fines I have heard of. That is on the Jawaazat Database (ie Min of Int) I cannot see the others leading to an exit refusal.

Re: Saudi Final Exit
Ok, just to update you on what happened as a definitive answer.
I had a postpaid service with Mobily and went through on final exit no problem. Phone is still working now. Also, I travelled directly to Doha. Saudi Final Exit - Done and never will I return back. |

KSA can be okay if you choose your Masters carefully. I was on the teaching faculty at KFUPM in Dhgahran and enjoyed my 9 years there - 2 of which were in the boonies up at HBCC (Hafr Al Batin).

Are you sure of this? I heard that having an outstanding bill can be a problem when leaving on Final Exit. I certainly closed my STC account rather than risk the hassle but maybe things have changed?

Re: Saudi Final Exit
Got to admit that when I left last year I was taking no chances and made sure everything was paid off, as you never know.
Had taken the family on a short break to Malaysia about a month before final exit and they were not going to let my daughter back in as they said she did not have a visa, despite it being in her passport and we had only been gone 7 days. Turns out that despite the evidence staring them in the face the computer said otherwise. |
