If they are giving you family status they should sort all this out for you, as it's more of a administrative ballache rather than hugely expensive. I'd start thinking a bit more carefully about the company's offer if this is the route they are already taking.

if they are not paying for dependants' paperwork, are they providing family hosuing ? Be wary of this offer and what appera sto be a cheapskate employer.

Aye, as the others have said, it's more of a ballache than the actual cost. Far easier if they sort it, and if required, deduct the money from you directly. Not sure how much a residency visa is these days, used to 2,000SR per person. Dependents Fees are 300SR per month per person. Set to go to 400SR next year. These are paid annually upon or before Iqama Renewal.
