Saudi driving licence - valid in GCC?

Just checking whether a Saudi car licence is valid for driving in other Gulf States? OK for car hire also eg Gulf, UK, EU?

It's Valid in the Gulf countries.
Well, I'm a Saudi guy and I was living in the UK, so I got to drive in the UK with my Saudi driving license, but you only can drive for one year with the Saudi license after that you must get a British driving license.

Thanks Sickly & Alaa.
Just need to persuade my sponsor to get to the Driving School office to finalise the KSA licence.
Hope cash is sufficient to hire a car in KSA then in UK.

Cash will not be sufficient in the UK. You will need a credit card so they can block out the excess/deductible in case of an incident.
